We Are UTCAI work across the UK criminal justice system to foster sustainable change at all levels of society. Operating through a practical, solution-focused approach we implement a range of custom projects and programmes tailored to the needs of each service, including consultancy, policy development and mentoring.

Working with stakeholders at all levels of organisations, including executive boards, frontline workers, staff and secure settings, our goal is to cultivate lasting, meaningful change which builds brighter futures, stronger communities and a fairer, more effective criminal justice system for every person in the UK.

From a humanitarian perspective the prison visits are important to maintain relationships and support the prisoner's mental wellbeing. 

Community ties have also been recognised as important factors in helping with the resettlement and reintegration of prisoners in society and reduced re-offending.
